EMDR Consultation Groups

The Center will be offering a monthly EMDR consultation group combining EMDR with Internal Family Systems and deliberate practice skills (What’s Deliberate Practice?). This will include focus on:

• Mirco-Skills: The moment-to-moment skills of supporting clients as they build more regulation, practice dual awareness, and move through the reprocessing.

• Macro-Skills: The session-by-session skills of transitioning through and between EMDR phases, including assessment, preparation, target identification, and completing target resolution.

• Meta-Skills: The between- or out-off-session skills of conceptualization within a neuro-developmental understanding of the AIP Model, and supporting more complete and sustained progress.

Ten hours for this group can be counted towards EMDRIA certification requirements. Areas of focus include: high complexity cases, ego state work, dissociation, integrating IFS and EMDR, and therapist self-regulation.
