Training & Consultation
Consultation for clinicians working in complex trauma
Whether you’re working toward EMDR or IFS certification or looking for ongoing support with complex cases, the most useful consultation tends to go beyond checking boxes.
I am Approved Consultant for both models and can support you in pursuing certification in each. In my work, I love to ask questions, push back when something isn’t landing, and pay attention to what’s happening with you in the room, not just what’s happening with your client. Most clinicians find that the certification hours become a starting point for something they didn’t know they were looking for.
If that sounds like the kind of conversation you want to be in, I’d love to connect.

If you want a sense of how I think before reaching out, this piece is for you. And it’s free.
“Is it okay if we …” – A Reflection on Authentic Presence in the Therapy Room
It’s used by supervisors and consultants as a between-session prompt for clinicians working on relational attunement and therapist presence. Practical, honest, and worth sitting with regardless of where you are in your training. If it raises something you want to think through together, that’s what the discovery call is for.
Individual Consultation
One-on-one consultation for licensed clinicians pursuing EMDR or IFS certification, or seeking a thinking partner for complex trauma work.
Sessions are 50-minutes and conducted virtually. As an EMDRIA-approved EMDR consultant and IFS Institute-approved IFS consultant, our work together counts toward certification requirements in both models.
What our conversations tend to look like:
- Looking at the full clinical picture together, not just the technique
- Conversation around what’s working, what isn’t, and what might be getting in the way
- Attention to your own presence and process in the room
- Questions more than answers — because that’s usually where the useful thinking happens
Rate: $150 per session
Group Consultation
Small-group consultation for licensed clinicians working in complex trauma. Groups meet monthly and are kept small (no more than 6 people) so there’s room for real conversation.
Hours are applicable toward EMDR and IFS certification. And beyond the credential, something particular tends to happen when clinicians think through cases alongside peers; hearing how someone else navigates a stuck point, and being heard in return, often shifts things in ways that one-on-one work doesn’t.
Groups come together in different ways. Some arrive as an existing peer cohort who want a consultant to work with together. Others come individually and find their people in the group itself. Both work well; let’s have a conversation about which would work well for you.

Resource Library
Coming soon.
The piece above is the first in a growing library of resources for clinicians working in complex trauma — practical frameworks, experiential guides, and reflective tools designed to support the kind of deliberate clinical practice that’s hard to find in a textbook.
Trainings and Workshops
In development.
A series of trainings on complex trauma treatment, therapist presence, and the neurobiology of the therapy process is on its way — offered as live workshops and small-cohort intensives where the work is experiential, not just informational.
And if you have a specific training need for your team or organization, reach out directly — I’d be glad to talk it through.
If you want to be part of that conversation when trainings launch or the Resource Library has an addition, join the Newsletter.
